Are you, or someone you know, a Bristol Bay youth who is interested in learning to fly fish or exploring the option of becoming a sportfishing guide in Bristol Bay?

At the Bristol Bay River and Guide Academy, you will be prepared for good paying jobs on local rivers. Throughout the week-long riverside course, we’ll learn fly fishing and tying skills, explore river ecology and culture, develop your leadership skills, learn from local leaders and meet new friends. WHEN: Saturday, June 6 through Saturday, June 13. (Travel: morning of June 6. and afternoon of June 13)

WHERE:  Kulik Lodge in Katmai National Park.

WHO: Applicants from the Bristol Bay region and/or BBNC Shareholders/descendants, ages 14-24, who demonstrate a true interest in exploring a career as a sportfishing guide and/or in river conservation will be given priority placement.

HOW + HOW MUCH: There is no cost to participants for attending the Academy.
